BLUESDADDY LIVE features Chicago Blues Hall of Fame Artist Will Johns and his band performing a dynamic cross section of music gems from his family legacy including Eric Clapton, Cream, Derek & The Dominos, Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles and Jimi Hendrix. Classic Blues songs by BB King, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson as well as some Will Johns originals accentuate the evening.
Will's memoir BLUESDADDY Born into Noise, Raised on Chaos and Saved by the Blues,with writer Marshall Terrill is set for release in September of 2026. Incorporated into the show are stories from the book told by Will himself.
A magnetic performer, Will Johns has a family legacy that encompassses some of the most important names in Blues and Rock music.
He is the son of renowned producer Andy Johns (Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin) and actress/model Paula Boyd and the nephew of celebrated recording engineer Glyn Johns (The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton). Will's aunt Pattie Boyd was famously married to both George Harrison and Eric Clapton (Uncles!)inspiring some of their best-known hits. His Aunt Jenny Boyd was married to Mick Fleetwood.
Shortly after his initial introduction to the guitar his Uncle Eric Clapton taught him chords from "Crossroads" to set him in motion.
Touring as a solo artist, Will has become a favorite among international festivals, entrancing audiences with his powerful vocals and deep bluesy guitar work. Since 2023, he has been touring Florida, establishing himself on the state’s well-known blues scene. 2026 sees him expanding his reach into venues across the U.S.A.
During his storied career Will has performed alongside many renowned and legendary musicians including his Uncle Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Nathan East, Steve Ferrone, Jack Bruce, Steve Winwood, Ronnie Wood, Mick Taylor, Bill Wyman, Nile, Rodgers, Robben Ford, Glenn Hughes, Roger Waters, Dennis Chambers and Kenny Jones.
